Inspired by Texas Hill Country Modern design, Lot 136 explores the balance between openness and privacy through layered architectural screening and texture. Designed in dialogue with adjacent Lot 135, the upper level is wrapped with vertical paneling that softens views between the two homes while creating shifting patterns of light and shadow throughout the day.

Native limestone, warm wood tones, and refined detailing anchor the home within the landscape, while the screened upper volume transforms into a softly glowing lantern along the hillside at night.
