Frank Lin, NCIDQ & Megan Lin, AIA PrincipalsFrank and Megan graduated with honors with Master of Architecture from the Washington University in St. Louis in 2006. Prior to moving to Austin and starting their practice, they both worked at critically acclaimed Star Architects in Los Angeles.Frank served as project manager at Graft Lab working on high-end hospitality project in Las Vegas; and gained professional experience working on various mixed-use projects in United States and China as senior project designer at both Gensler and MCO Design.Megan immersed herself with wHY Architecture and served as project designer and project manager on several high-profile museums and galleries throughout the US including Grand Rapids Art Museum, Art Institute of Chicago and L & M Gallery in Venice, California.

Principals

Frank and Megan Lin are the founding principals of CoXist Studio, an Austin-based architecture and interiors firm specializing in bespoke residential homes and high-end boutique commercial projects. The two met while earning their Master of Architecture degrees, both of which they graduated with honors from Washington University in St. Louis in 2006.

Before founding CoXist Studio, they gained extensive experience at critically acclaimed architecture firms in Los Angeles. Frank served as a project manager at Graft Lab, leading high-end hospitality projects in Las Vegas, and later contributed as a senior project designer at both Gensler and MCO Design, where he worked on mixed-use developments across the U.S. and China. Megan worked with renowned firm wHY Architecture, where she served as project designer and project manager on several high-profile cultural institutions, including the Grand Rapids Art Museum, the Art Institute of Chicago, and L&M Gallery in Venice, California.

With over 19 years of experience, Frank and Megan bring complementary perspectives to their practice—balancing innovation with sensitivity, and scale with detail. At CoXist Studio, they are known for their human-centered approach, timeless aesthetic, and commitment to thoughtful, communicative design. Their work bridges the familiar and the extraordinary, rooted in the belief that beauty has the power to shape how we live, gather, and remember.

 

Jesse Hall, RA

Project Architect

Jesse gained his first working experience in the built environment by reading the blueprints sprawled across his dad’s tailgate, preparing the earth for the architecture to follow. He would go on to The Ohio State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture with honors. Jesse is a registered architect who has practiced in Cleveland, Seattle, and Austin. Throughout his journey, he has gained experience from master planning town center developments to retail tenant improvement. And in the residential sphere, he has worked to design and manage everything from remodels to multi-million dollar estates.

Dany Mendoza

Project Designer

Dany earned her Professional Bachelor of Architecture degree from ITESO, Instituto Superior de Estudios Superiores de Occidente. While living in Guadalajara, she worked at Estudio Macias Peredo, focusing on single-family and multi-family residential and commercial. Dany believes in creating poetic architecture by blurring the boundary between emotions and spatial experiences. 

Amber Dudley, RA

Project Architect

Amber is a licensed architect and interior designer with a Bachelor of Architecture from The University of Texas at Austin. Her work centers on residential design, where she’s taken on roles spanning architecture, interiors, and construction project management. Amber believes the best results come from collaboration and fully integrated design. Guided by the idea that thoughtful design can elevate everyday life, she approaches each project with a commitment to creating spaces that feel both meaningful and enduring.

Zumi

Office Manager

Zumi is an essential part of the team at coXist. Her excitement to come to work each day motivates us all to work a little harder. She is extremely dedicated to her job at notifying us when we have a guest or when the mail is being delivered. While she has not yet mastered the ability to make coffee, she makes up for this short fall with sheer enthusiasm. Her ability to tackle any task regardless of her lack in stature is inspiring to all.
